ABOUT
Hi There! I'm Ann, a surfer among other things. You can catch me floating around good beginner breaks in Orange County, California.
I took my first surf class at Endless Sun Surf School at the Newport Beach Pier in May of 2023 as a 55 year old. I'm living my dream of being near the ocean after having grown up around the third coast -- the Great Lakes. I am awed by the natural environment here in the OC on a near-daily basis.
I currently work at the University of California at Irvine. A lifelong educator, I am now a certified mindfulness meditation teacher through the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. I'm also a Board-eligible Health & Wellness Coach through the Academic Integrative Medicine Health & Wellness Coaching Certificate Program at the UCI Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute.
